In First Dates, single people from across Ireland come to the First Dates restaurant where they will have a real blind date.

At the helm of the First Dates Ireland restaurant is maître d' – Mateo Saina. Originally from Croatia, Mateo moved to Dublin in 2004 to take up a position at 'Browns on the Green'. Falling instantly in love with the city and its people, Mateo has lived here ever since. Joining Mateo is his team of merry matchmakers; barman Ethan Miles and waitress Alice Marr, who will help set the scene and give romance the best possible chance to flourish.

The tables are set and the drinks are on ice as the First Dates restaurant prepares to welcome a new batch of single people looking for romance.
